Littlehampton’s annual beach run is set to return this month, with around 600 participants expected to take part.
The popular community event is being organised by Arunners and will take place on Wednesday, 17 June, starting from East Green.
The annual beach run is one of Littlehampton’s well-known sporting events, bringing together runners of different ages and abilities for an evening of activity along the coast.
Both senior and junior runners will be taking part, with the event offering opportunities for younger athletes as well as more experienced runners to get involved.
Organisers are expecting a strong turnout, with hundreds of participants set to line up at the start. The event is also likely to attract supporters, families and spectators, creating a lively atmosphere around East Green and the seafront.
The beach run has become a regular fixture in the town’s sporting calendar, helping to promote fitness, community spirit and participation in local athletics.
Arunners, which is hosting the event, continues to play an important role in encouraging people to take part in running and physical activity across the area.
