St John Ambulance have expressed their disappointment after their property was damaged at an event in Bognor Regis.

Over the weekend, the charity faced damage to several pieces of equipment including a gazebo and support unit.

Callum Ward, Area Manager, explained the effect this has on the volunteer-run charity:

“As a charity we rely on fundraising and the goodwill of others to help us to be there in the moments that matter. Damaging equipment which comes at a cost to replace, prevents us from using our life-saving resources in the most effective way.”

The incident has been reported to the police and they urge that anybody with any information to get in touch with Sussex Police.
