The teaching pool and other facilities remain open
Littlehampton Wave's main pool is to remain closed following an "unforeseen technical issue".
The leisure centre revealed today that the swim site will be shut "until further notice" as they work with Arun District Council in order to resolve the issue. While the teaching pool and other facilities will remain open, swimmers wanting to take a dip in the main pool are advised to visit Arun Leisure Centre instead.
Speaking in a Facebook post today, Littlehampton Swimming Club shared that "all swimming at the Wave tonight is cancelled due to a technical issue with the main pool.
"The small pool and all other facilities remain open. We will update SPOND sessions as and when we receive more info."
The non-profit sports centre recently announced it was cutting down on water temperatures and asked visitors to take quicker showers after rising energy prices left it with bills amounting to millions of pounds more than usual.
