V2 Radio is going country tonight with a very special live broadcast from Nashville, Tennessee.
At 9pm, the station will be live from more than 4,000 miles away, broadcasting from the world-famous WSM Radio, one of the most iconic names in country music.
Tanya and Gary have travelled to Nashville for the occasion and will be teaming up with Eryn Cooper to bring listeners a special country music show direct from Tennessee.
The programme will celebrate the sound, stories and spirit of Nashville, giving listeners across the South a chance to feel part of one of the world’s most famous music cities.
WSM Radio has a major place in country music history and is known around the world for its connection to Nashville’s legendary music scene.
Tonight’s broadcast is set to bring that atmosphere straight to V2 Radio listeners at home.
As part of the show, listeners are being invited to get involved by sharing their favourite country song on our socials. V2 Radio is also asking whether people would like to hear a regular country show on the station in the future.
Those who comment will also be in with a chance of winning a special prize brought all the way back from Nashville, with one winner chosen at random.
The special broadcast is expected to feature plenty of country music, conversation and Nashville atmosphere, as Tanya, Gary and Eryn bring listeners a show with a real Tennessee flavour.
It marks another big moment for V2 Radio as it continues to bring something different to audiences across Sussex, Hampshire and beyond.
