The Met Office has released new guidance from 3pm this afternoon and tomorrow morning.
A yellow weather warning for rain has been issued for West Sussex this afternoon.
It means that the Met Office are warning of heavy rain from 3pm this afternoon across our area which could lead to localised flooding and issues with roads and public transport.
The warning means that:
- Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
- Where flooding occurs, there is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services
- There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
People are asked to check before they travel with expected delays across transport systems in West Sussex.
