West Sussex County Council are urgently searching for drivers and passenger assistants to help get children to their schools.

West Sussex County Council are urgently searching for drivers and passenger assistants to help get children to their schools.

The council are recruiting minibus drivers and assistants that will travel with vulnerable adults and school children providing support.

They are looking for school Minibus Drivers to provide an efficient driving service to children and young adult passengers.

They are looking for positive role models in interactions with customers and for applicants to be familiar with and adhere to the West Sussex County Council (WSCC) values and be compliant with key regulations.

The role will undertake driving duties of an allocated vehicle of 4-16 seats safely to and from a variety of locations, being sensitive to the needs of passengers.

For the role of Passenger assistants you will be supporting these people with journeys to and from schools, day centres, training courses and other venues.

The role will work collaboratively and convey messages between the school and the pupils’ parents about their health and wellbeing.
