Charity Track Day at Goodwoood

Local Dementia Charity invites you to put pedal to the metal at Goodwood

You are invited to Dementia Support’s exclusive, 105dB track day, delivering you a legendary driving experience in your car on the 22nd of October.

The charity has exclusively hired the historic Goodwood circuit for you to follow in the tire tracks of Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, and Dementia Support patron, Derek Bell MBE. They are offering a morning or an afternoon timeslot for £275 for you and a guest.

Your experience starts with tea and coffee at the historic motor circuit and an official welcome by Goodwood. There is then a safety briefing and vehicle noise testing after which you will get your slot to take your car for a spin around the track at your own pace. To wrap up the day there is a racing trophy, prizes and an auction.

Dianne Gill, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Dementia Support, said, “Being a petrol head myself, I cannot wait to get out on the track with everybody and soak in the atmosphere at Goodwood. It’s going to be a great day for anybody who is a car or racing enthusiast.”

The money raised will help Dementia Support to support those living with dementia as well as their loved ones and carers throughout their whole dementia journey. They offer free advice and support through their Wayfinding service, respite care, activity sessions and health and wellbeing services such as hairdressing and assisted bathing to help people to live well with dementia.
