Chichester City Council's VE Day 80th Anniversary Celebration Events

VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, is celebrated on May 8th each year. It marks the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Nazi Germany’s unconditional surrender, effectively ending the war in Europe in 1945.

Chichester City Council is pleased to host a variety of events to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day:

Swing Dance in the The Assembly Room

Thursday 8th – Saturday 10th May, 9.30am – 4.30pm

Community Day
Saturday 10th May, 9.30am – 4.30pm
Community stalls & Fire Engine
Fish & Chip van available to buy supper

Guided Walk (limited spaces available)
Sunday 11th May, 10.30am
Meet at in the Portico at The Council House
