Local History and Flower Display - St Andrews Church, West Dean
To Commemorate VE 80 Day and the men we lost from the Valley Parish in WWII, 3rd-5th May 10-5

Large display of local history concerning WWII activities in East Dean, Singleton and West Dean, including display of work by children from West Dean Primary School. The display will include background into the men we lost from the Valley Parish in WWII. The men were involved in operations all over the world including North Atlantic Convoys; Bomber raids against V1 and V2 sites over Europe; and secret flights to occupied France. Beautiful floral displays throughout the church. Refreshments.
