Appeal following fatal collision in Waterlooville

Investigations are continuing into a collision in Waterlooville in which a 14-year-old boy died.

The incident on Monday (7/7/205), which occurred around 9 pm, involved a car towing a trailer and a pedestrian — the boy who lost his life.

A 24-year-old man from Waterlooville has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving while unfit through drugs. He has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.

As part of the police investigation officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who has relevant dash cam footage capturing the incident or the moments leading up to it.
