A man from Ashington who lost his wife to cancer is raising money for a charity which helps children through the grief process.
Brendon McChesney-Martin is aiming to raise £10,000 for Winston’s Wish by cycling 250miles from Vietnam to Cambodia.
Brendan says, "This journey has been one of trying to build a life out of devastation. And while I can't thank everyone enough for supporting us, I am very much aware of the ongoing support the children require to navigate this new life."
Winston’s Wish relies on voluntary charitable donations to support children and their families following the death of a parent, sibling or important person. Since 1992, they have helped tens of thousands of bereaved children and young people and, with your help, can help tens of thousands more during the most difficult time of their lives.
