Police in Brighton are appealing for witnesses and information after an assault in Saunders View Park on Monday 2 February at around 7.30pm.
Emergency services were called following a report that a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed.
It was reported that a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old man were approached by a man who entered the road from the direction of Saunders Park.
The man reportedly attempted to injure the boy with a bladed article, causing a neck injury, before leaving toward the park.
The boy was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The man has been described as being 6’ tall and wearing a black puffa jacket with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms, a black face covering, and carrying a black rucksack.
Officers are pursuing multiple lines of enquiry in an ongoing investigation.
