Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious incident in Chichester following reports of an altercation on Exton Road.
Sussex Police say a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries consistent with a stabbing.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon (22 July) in an alleyway between Exton Road and Kingsham Road.
An eyewitness has told V2 Radio: “The air ambulance landed and there were several police cars around—it all happened just as schools were finishing.”
Police are now appealing for information and urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
