Work is moving forward at the Alexandra Theatre in Bognor.
According to the council, the main contractor, Neilcott, has reinforced the building’s foundations, and preparations for the main construction phase are nearly complete.

- Foundation strengthening completed - the underpinning work to reinforce the building's foundations has been successfully completed
- Groundwork preparation finalised - the piling mat is now complete, providing a stable base for piling operations
- Piling commenced - piling work has started, marking a significant milestone in establishing deep foundations
- Site mobilisation and enabling work nears completion - preparation to support the main construction phase is now largely complete, and the primary work to the theatre is underway
