Map and timetable of new bus route connecting Chichester and Littlehampton revealed

The 500 bus route is launching in July and heads through Shopwyke, Fontwell, Barnham and Yapton

The route map and timetable of a new bus route connecting Chichester and Littlehampton via Shopwyke, Fontwell, Barnham and Yapton has been revealed.

The 500, set to launch on the 2nd of July, will run every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday, which reduces to an hourly service on Sundays.

On the route, it'll cover Chichester Cathedral and bus station, St Richard's Hospital, Shopwhyke, Tangmere, Eastergate, Barnham, Yapton and Littlehampton.

A journey from Chichester to Littlehampton is expected to take around 50 minutes on average.

The stops covered by the service are: Chichester Cathedral, Chichester Bus Station, Chichester St Richard's Hospital, Shopwhyke Western Road, Tangmere Tamar Way, Eastergate War Memorial, Barnham Railway Station, Yapton Village Hall and Littlehampton Anchor Springs. 

On the way back, the route once again covers Littlehampton Anchor Springs, Yapton Village Hall, Barnham Railway Station, Eastergate Collins Close, Tangmere Nettleton Avenue, Shopwhyke Kingfisher Gardens, Chichester St Richard's Hospital, Chichester Cathedral and the bus station.
