Ofcom, the organisation that looks after the radio airwaves, has awarded Digital Radio West Sussex Ltd the licence to operate a Small-Scale DAB (SSDAB) radio multiplex in South West Sussex.
V2 Radio is part of a local radio group with a distinct and strong set of USPs from well-established local radio businesses with a real heritage, a deep local history, and a strong commercial track record.
The board members include Justin Cottrell, Daniel Nathan, John Dash and Allan Moulds.
Digital Radio West Sussex Ltd is committed to growing radio listenership in this part of the county. Its particular focus is on the young, who are looking for ways to fall in love with radio, as they did at that age. The proposed roster of stations included with the application secondly by making three studio complexes in West Sussex readily available to support Schools Radio Sussex, an exciting West Sussex project, and thirdly, the intention to offer an allocation of free carriage to qualifying C-DSP licensed stations including Platform B, Slack City and Sussex Schools Radio.
