Portsmouth will receive a significant funding boost for its electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The council has been awarded a grant of over £3.6 million, enabling them to install hundreds of additional charging points throughout the city.
The Department for Transport has already approved £458,000 for this purpose.
Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt welcomed the funding.
