Plans for five gypsy/traveller pitches in Runcton have been approved by Chichester District Council.
The application for land next to The Spinney, in Lagness Road, was given the nod during a meeting of the planning committee on Wednesday (March 11).
As well as the pitches, the development will include a communal day room. It will be accessed via Mill Lane.
A previous application for the site was refused by the council in 2024 but approved by the planning inspector on appeal. This second application was separate from that, though work was already under way.
An access point, which has already been built onto Lagness Road, is the subject of an enforcement order, which was served in December and is being appealed.
The committee was told that an objection from North Mundham Parish council had been withdrawn.
The plans were approved unanimously.
