The Big Hoot owls have new owners

The owls have been auctioned to raise vital funds for Chestnut Tree House

The Big Hoot's brightly-coloured, giant owls been auctioned off overnight. The public art trail of 30 owl sculptures has been on display all summer in Chichester and Arundel city centres.

The Big Hoot has been raising vital funds for the Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice, as it celebrates it’s 21st anniversary this year. The 30 owls were all uniquely designed by local and national artists, and have been nestling in public green spaces around Chichester and Arundel all through the summer holidays, which all told a different story through their design. There was even a V2 Radio owl ... did you spot it?

So far, at least £150,000 has been raised for the Chestnut Tree House children's hospice.
