Travel nightmare for South's commuters using part of the A27

There’s misery for some of the South’s commuters navigating part of the A27.

For days now, they’ve been facing roadworks causing bumper-to-bumper tailbacks and severe delays of up to 40 minutes in some cases.

It’s all due to roadworks near Brighton on the east and westbound carriageways between the A23 and the junction with the A270.

Highways says the works won’t be completed until mid-June.
