What do employers look for?

When preparing for an interview, it's a good idea to consider what the employer is looking for. They'll have to make a rapid assessment of the individual in front of them. As the candidate, you must present yourself in the best possible light; consider how you present yourself, how you respond to inquiries, and how you discuss your previous jobs and how they relate to this job.

Take notice of your appearance. Even if you are being interviewed over zoom, plan ahead of time what you will wear to the interview. Consider what you would be asked to wear on the job and make an effort to match. A receptionist, for example, should dress professionally. Other roles may require something more informal.

Examine your CV. Make sure your CV is current and relevant to the position you're looking for. There is a supplementary brochure available to assist you with this.

Experience. The interviewer will inquire about your previous experiences. Prepare to discuss your previous employment, interests, and any volunteer work you've done. You're attempting to show how your previous work experience qualifies you for this position.

Getting along with the others. The interviewer is looking for someone who will fit in with the team. They'll be trying to see if you come across as friendly during the interview. Make eye contact, smile, and be nice.
Last but not least. Always have in mind A first impression is something you never get a second chance to make.

Lastly... Stay cool, you won't come across the way you want if you're overwhelming yourself with stress and over-thinking. Prepare well and be yourself.
