Summer Puppetry Workshops for Children Aged 7-12

Open to children aged 7-12, it’s a chance for them to work with our professional tutors to develop craft, performing and teamwork skills, as well as having fun, making friends and building confidence.

Make a Puppet Play in a Week!
Monday 10th - Friday 14th August @ 9:00am - 3:30pm
Age: 7-12 year olds, Cost: £150 per child

Work as a team to make a puppet play in a week! Make different puppets, learn simple stop motion animation, learn about theatre lighting and sound, and then put on a short play! Whether you prefer puppet making, backstage work, or performing (or want to try a bit of everything) we’ll work together to put on a show for our friends and family.

Makerspace Puppet Club
Tuesday 18th - Thursday 20th August @ 9:00am - 3:30pm
Age: 7-12 year olds Cost: £90 per child

Join us for fun creative workshops! Each day will focus on a different kind of puppet - hand puppets, string puppets and shadow puppetry - and we’ll make puppets and props and then work together to make short puppet scenes.
