BOGNOR: Police investigating as man in forties pronounced dead and another arrested on drug possession

Officers are investigating the circumstances of the man’s death.

Police are investigating after calls to a medical incident saw a man in his forties pronounced dead and another arrested on possession of a class A at a residency in Bognor Regis last night and another was arrested on possession of Class As. 

Officers were called to Belmont Street at around 7:30 last night following a report of a medical incident, where a 45-year-old man was pronounced dead. A 41-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply. 

A spokesperson confirmed: "Officers are investigating the circumstances of the man’s death."

They added that the man remains in custody and the next of kin of the deceased have been informed.
