Fire crews from Bognor, Chichester, Littlehampton and Worthing have responded to a fire in London Road, Bognor.
On X, West Sussex Fire and Rescue said, "Our attendance is being scaled back as the fire is now out. The remaining crews are dampening down hotspots. We would like to thank @WHSmith and @superdrug for their cooperation in evacuating their neighbouring premises."
People nearby were advised to close doors and windows due to smoke.
